The Brandon Inn is always a great option and is only 15 minutes away. If you are a group of 4 or more, we suggest you look for a house/apartment to rent on VRBO or AirBnb. There are a lot of cute towns 15-20 minutes away. Look for accommodations in Pittsford, Brandon, Chittenden, Mendon, or Rutland. We love Vermont and know you will too. Some of our favorite things to do are hike Chaffey Falls, visit Baird Maple Syrup Farm, swim in the Chittenden Reservoir (beautiful views!), and have a cocktail at Mountain Top Inn. If you're looking for a great day trip, Burlington (VT's biggest city) is an 1.5 hour drive away (maybe you'll run into Bernie Sanders!) and Woodstock has a lot of cute shops. Be sure to also stop by one of the many local ice cream shops and get a maple creemee (a VT specialty!).

In true Vermont style, we're getting married in a field! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be open-air and the reception will be in a big, beautiful tent on Julia's family's property. Be sure to wear/bring shoes that you can walk on grass in.
